General introduction of the web site

Drilling machine LIM S.A. was incorporated in September 1985, in the suburbs of Lyon (Southeast of France) by Mr Frederic MALINET, geologist of training.
The style of the LIM S.A. firm is the design, the manufacture and the marketing of measurement electronic equipment and associated software specialized for both drilling and grouting instrumentation.
The main sectors of activities of LIM S.A. are mines and quarries, special foundations, underground works and geotechnics.

The aim of LIM SA is, to provide to its clients one solution of complete instrumentation. This integrates a new technology going from the sensor to the processing software. Different measurement instruments are available according to the application.

The polyvalent teams of LIM S.A. operate all over the world for installing the measurement equipment, starting the operations and training the users.

The LIM SA firm also imagines and develops specialized software for boring, grouting and geology in general, under the trademark MIG GEOSOFT®.
