After 3 years of technical support
on the GEO-LOG 2 software, LIM decided to completely re-write the
GEO-LOG application in order to propose a real 32 bits software
for Windows 95, 98, Millenium and Windows NT 4 . The new software is
more powerful and user-friendly.

3 is based on a MicrosoftTM Access® 97 powerful database that enables through an interactive way, to enter,
import, store and classify all types of borehole information.
- GEO-LOG
3 uses an unified
interface in
order to access permanently to all tools: Database consultation
and input, borehole logs and multi-logs profiles creation and
printing, LIM data reading with MTC, etc...
- Generalizing of contextual
menus to simplify
the browsing in the software.

to read and print automatically boreholes with a choosen template.

of Bitmap and Metafile pictures for logos and geological symbols (the METAMIG application
enables the creation of geological symbols under the EMF file
format).

associated to boreholes (text, Excel, HTML, RTF).
- Exportation
of graphs to picture files (EMF, BMP). These files can then be imported in any
type of Windows graphic application (Autocad, Excel, Word, etc...).
